Before you sign.
A Solana transaction can contain more than one instruction. Do not approve it just because the site says “verify”, “claim”, or “connect”.
What to look for
- Transfers: SOL, token, or NFT movement you did not expect.
- Approve delegate: another address being authorised to transfer or burn a limited amount from a token account.
- Set authority: changes to mint authority, freeze authority, owner, or close authority.
- Close account: token account closure and rent being sent somewhere.
- Unknown programmes: instructions to programmes you do not recognise.
- Multiple instructions: one harmless-looking action bundled with something risky.
